In 2026, Latvian audiences will have the opportunity to hear the greatest hits of the legendary Swedish duo Roxette performed live by the tribute band ROXETTE UK, appearing in Jelgava and Liepāja. 

ROXETTE UK is an international tribute project that has performed in the United Kingdom, Brazil and other countries. The band recreates Roxette’s distinctive pop-rock sound while capturing the energy and emotion that made the original duo so widely loved.

The line-up features:

Libby Cooper performing Marie Fredriksson’s vocal parts 
Matt Black performing Per Gessle’s vocal and guitar parts 
Jake Graham – guitar 
Joe Lally – bass 
Andy Mapp – drums

The show runs for almost two hours and features many of Roxette’s best-known songs, including The Look, Joyride, It Must Have Been Love, Listen to Your Heart, Spending My Time and more.

Formed in 1986 by Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle, Roxette became one of the defining pop-rock acts of the late 1980s and 1990s. Their combination of memorable melodies, powerful vocals and polished guitar-driven pop brought them international success and a devoted worldwide audience.
