Modern jazz blends tradition with contemporary expression, giving musicians freedom in both improvisation and composition. This genre emphasises individuality, subtle musical nuances, and close interplay between performers.

The concert program will feature modern jazz pieces alongside original compositions written during recent months of study and inspiration drawn from music cultures abroad (Denmark, USA). The sound will unite lyrical melodies, rhythmically energetic and harmonically rich forms, as well as fresh interpretations of Latvian and international pop music.
