MASSive Jazz Jam | Miles Davis & John Coltrane 100

On July 14, MASSive Jazz Jam will be dedicated to the centenary of two modern jazz legends — Miles Davis and John Coltrane.

 

In 2026, the centenary of both artists is celebrated, and this evening will be dedicated to their music and influence on the development of jazz. The house band will perform compositions by Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Joe Henderson, as well as original works by the musicians, in which the jazz tradition meets a modern sound, improvisation and electro-acoustic elements.

 

The evening will be opened by musicians from the international project United Jazz Collective:
Rickard Malmsten – bass
Jim Schneider – piano
Tanel Ruben – drums
Deniss Paškevičs – saxophone, flute, electronics

 

The evening will begin with a house band performance at 7:00 PM, followed by an open jam session.
