Everyone loves a wedding... and a family row.

But even when a long-awaited family reunion promises to be joyful and tender, you and I both know: the fun usually ends when someone, overcome by the urge for a public confession, pours their third glass of champagne.

And so, what was meant to be a happy family celebration turns into an emotional time bomb, ready to explode at any moment.

Three sisters from very different walks of life return to their childhood home to celebrate a momentous event: the third wedding of their twice-widowed mother, Diana (Kristin Scott Thomas).

 Anyone with sisters knows: it’s dangerously easy to hit a nerve, when a single remark can reopen old wounds and turn a cozy family estate into “the house where hearts are broken.”

Now, meeting again at their mother’s celebration, they must find balance at the epicenter of a family earthquake — moving from despair to hope.
