Today, March 6th at 11AM in all "Biļešu serviss" network start the ticket sales to concert of American pop-rock band OneRepublic, what will be held at Arena Riga on November 14th.
Farewell to the audience 6 years ago, the band's frontman Ryan Tedder said: "I promise that when we have a new album, a new tour and a new outfit, we will come to Riga again." And he keeps the word - during this time 1 studio album has been released and the next one is scheduled for release this spring. For visitors such a fact means that it was worth waiting longer to hear even more great songs at the concert!
The performers of well-known hits Stop and Stare, Counting Stars, Secrets, Good Life, Wanted, I Lived, If I Lose Myself, Rescue Me, Kids and of course Apologize will give an impressive, high class performance.
OneRepublic was founded in 2002 by Colorado Springs, a former schoolmate - soloist, multi-instrumentalist and lead singer Ryan Tedder and guitarist Zach Filkins. The current line-up consists also of guitarist Drew Brown, bassist and cellist Brent Kutzle, drummer Eddie Fisher and keyboardist Brian Willett.
The worldwide recognition has come to the band with their single Apologize, what producer Timbaland remixed and included in his year 2007 compilation album. The song ranked first in 16 countries, with over 6 million copies sold in the US alone.
So far OneRepublic has released 4 studio albums with the fifth due to be released this spring, 5 extended plays, 29 singles, 7 promotional singles, and 22 music videos.
Besides OneRepublic, the band's frontman Ryan Tedder is also known to be a very productive, highly regarded songwriter and producer. To his creative spirit belong Leona Lewis' Bleeding Love, Beyonce's Halo, Adele's Rumor Has It and Turning Tables, Demi Lovato's Neon Lights, Jennifer Lopez's Do It Well, Ella Henderson's Ghost, and many more.
