Astro'n'out Arēna Rīga

 

On November 3rd, 2023 band Astro’n’out will delighted its fans with largest-to date performance in Arena Riga, playing both well -loved fan favorites, as well as presenting brand new studio album.
Since its early days’ Astro’n’out has crafted and shared with their fanbase many unforgettable moments of music and performance, leading to the next progression in this journey- performance of a lifetime on the largest stage in Latvia- Arena, Riga. This is going to be double whammy of new horizons- not only is this going to be the largest-to-date performance of the band, it will also celebrate feature release of the 7th studio album “777”. The concert will blend familiar and well- loved songs alongside new and exciting singles.

Talking to lead singer Mara Upmane-Holsteine: “This is a completely new and fresh challenge for us. We are looking to blend two completely opposite concepts. On the one hand we are looking to bring together largest to-date crowd of fans, while at the same time creating intimate one-on-one experience which is carried over from the upcoming new album. Come prepared to dance ‘till you can no more!  Bring your true self along. This will be more than just another performance; we are looking to create safe space where everyone can be themselves and celebrate and respect our differences, where we talk and share what’s truly important to you and me- about hope, loss, longing, and honesty. Above all- to celebrate life and the opportunity for all of us to come together once again, enjoying melodies/music that we create and love.

Astro’n’out are a Latvian pop band from Riga, formed in 2003.  “Dala Rigas” was the single that brought wider success to the band,  followed by further succesfull releases such as “Gravitātei nē”, “Tici sev”, “Dejot trakāk”, “Multivitamīnu multipaka”, “Haosā”, “Lidmašīnas režīmā”.  The band consists of Māra Upmane-Holšteine (lead vocals), Juris Kalnišs (guitar, keybords), Mārtiņš Elerts (guitar, keyboards), Toms Poišs (bass guitar), Mārtiņš Opmanis (drums).

Band has released six albums to date, with every single release being recognized through nominations for Latvia Music Awards. In 2020 album “Multivitamīnu multipaka” received “Golden Microphone” award as the best Latvian pop music album of 2019. In 2021, through collaboration with band “Sudden Lights” we created a single “Haosā “, receiving “Radio Hit of the year 2021” award.
