For the first time in the Baltics on October 19th, the talented artist Grandson (the real name Jordan Edward Benjamin) will perform at the "Palladium" concert hall.
Grandson combines bluesy hard rock guitars, trap-influenced beats, EDM production, and lyrics that closely inspect addiction, mental health issues, and the struggles of everyday life.

Jordan Edward Benjamin was born in New Jersey, but at the age of 3, the family moved to Canada. The guy spent his childhood and teenage years in Toronto, but after high school he entered McGill University and moved to Montreal. In parallel with his studies, he started to focuse on creating a music. At first as a DJ, but gradually starting to create his own original works as well. In 2014, the young man moved to Los Angeles to start building a musical career.
Bills, Things Change and Bury Me Face Down were the first singles released by Benjamin under the pseudonym Grandson in 2015 on various streaming platforms, each attracting over a million listens
In 2018, he managed to sign a contract with the record company Fueled by Ramen. Soon after then was reelased Grandson's debut EP “A Modern Tragedy Vol. 1", which includes the single "Blood // Water" that exposes political corruption. It is this composition that already draws much wider public attention, as evidenced by its entry into multiple Billboard charts.
In the same year, Grandson participates in the song Running From My Shadow from the debut solo album of Linkin Park co-singer Mike Shinoda.
Still in 2018, Grandson tours intensively, supporting Joywave, Nothing But Thieves, Smashing Pumkins, Young The Giant, etc.
In February and September 2019, the 2nd and 3rd parts of the trilogy "A Modern Tragedy" have been brought to a judgmenet of the listeners.
In December 2020, "Death of an Optimism" will be released - Grandson's first full-length album, being his first record to have a heavier tone since the release of the last a modern tragedy EP.
Grandson's latest album "I Love You, I'm Trying" comes out on May 5th, but its precursor - industrial and energetic single Drones can already be checked on all the popular platforms.
“I’m painting the intimate portrait of myself I know how – covering themes of self harm, family trauma, the hidden side of life on the road, and so much more,” Grandson shares. “This is the album that 16 year old me needed. This is the album I was scared to write and the album fans of mine deserve to hear. Above all this is the album where I face a big question: can I handle the changes life throws at me, and if this all that there is to life, can it be enough to be happy?”
Following the release of "I Love You, I'm Trying" Grandson embarks on a massive global headline tour, kicking off with 2-month long US leg, then jumping to Canada, Mexico, UK and the rest of Europe.
